Welcome To Our Church
You are welcome you to Jesus House, a flourishing Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God situated in Ajao Estate, off the International Airport Road, Lagos. You are welcome to a place where the praise of God is continuously in our mouths; the reason we are called and known as the House of Praise.
Ours is a Church of all nations and all colours clothed together in the love and beauty of Jesus Christ. I am convinced that the Lord has ordered your steps into this place for a glorious encounter. We are assured that here, in Jesus House, God will do some things in your life which will amaze you and astound people around you.
Our Children Church is a whole lot of wonderful experience for the various age groups. Our teenagers have their fellowships in an atmosphere that grows them in all spheres of life. In our adult Church, the Word of God works wonders as the whole gospel is preached with God bearing witness to His Word daily. As a community impact church, we carry out regular medical outreach, corporate social responsibility projects, and other support outreaches to reflect the reality of the love of Jesus to all.
We have service platforms for every member to use their gifts and talents to serve God and contribute their quota to the furtherance of the work of God’s Kingdom on earth. We will be glad to have you join us.
“As you go through this site, you will get to know more about this Church and discover your place in it. God has brought you here for a royal purpose and we know that He will see through its fulfillment.”

Frequently Asked Questions
What time is your Sunday worship service?
We hold a single worship service each Sunday in our church auditorium. We start with a Sunday school by 8:00 am followed by a celebration service by 9:00 am. We also hold a monthly thanksgiving service on every first Sunday.
Do I have to belong to your denomination to attend Jesus House?
Not at all! There are many in our congregation that come from a church background other than the RCCG. We are a “patchwork” church – people with different church backgrounds “woven together” by God’s grace.
What kind of things do you do in your worship service?
We strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere at Jesus House. We greet each other so everyone feels welcomed; we share announcements and church news; we sing, dance, and listen to our choir perform beautiful music; we lift the congregation’s joys and concerns to God through thanksgiving and prayer; we read the Bible and talk about it through the sermon; and we collect an offering to further God’s work.
Do you have a parking space in your church?
Yes we do. We have locations around the church premises where your car can be safely parked. We have church volunteers who together with security agencies, will watch over your car while you worship.
Do you hold online services?
Yes, we hold online services. If you are unable to make it to church for any reason, you can join our live services on our livestream page. We make both audio and video broadcasts of our Sunday worship services. At this time, we also hold Bible Studies and Prayer Meetings online via Zoom Meetings. Kindly check our events calendar for the schedules of such meetings.
How do I get more involved in the church?
A perfect place to start is by visiting a small group, which provides an excellent opportunity to get to know more people and grow. Our house fellowships and natural groups are a place to start. You can also take your involvement a step further by joining the church workforce.
How is the church responding to the COVID-19 situation?
Every need in the world is an OPEN DOOR to share God’s love. That’s why, at Jesus House, we’ve been responding to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis, not by panicking or hiding out of fear, but by serving the people who are most vulnerable. No matter how frustrating, confusing, or scary this crisis gets, fear doesn’t have the final say. 1 John 4:18 says, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.” Our hope is built on the perfect love of Jesus Christ, so we’ve been called to share that love with the world. And that’s exactly what we’ve been doing and will continue to do in the coming weeks and months as more and more people in our community are in need.
What do you offer for children on Sunday morning?
We offer Sunday school and impact classes for children aged 3 years through to 12 years. We also cater to infants, crawlers, walkers, and newborns up to the age of 2 during each of our worship services. Our teachers and minders teach Jesus-centered topics in a fun and engaging way in our secure children’s area which allows you to have peace of mind during services.
How can I serve in the church?
We are a service-driven denomination, and we encourage you to join our vibrant workforce. To become a worker, you may need to go through a Believers’ class (if you haven’t done so initially) where you will be taught the basic tenets of Christ and Salvation. You will then need to pass through the Workers-in-Training class afterwards; where you get experiential training on how to serve as a worker in the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
With whom do I talk if I want to know more about Jesus House?
If you are visiting our church physically on our service days, you can walk up to any of our ushers or greeters, and they will help with any sort of information you may need about our church. If you are unable to visit our church on our days of service, kindly fill out the contact form here or send us an email on jesushouseofpraise36@gmail.com and we’ll be glad to reach back to you.
